Duxton Hill Chambers is delighted to announce that Lucy Burrows has accepted its invitation to join as the Senior Clerk of Duxton Hill Chambers London with effect from 1 October 2026.
Lucy brings more than 20 years’ experience at the Commercial Bar, including senior clerking and practice management roles at leading commercial sets. She has extensive experience working with leading silks and juniors, advising on the strategic development of their practices and building long-standing client relationships.
As Senior Clerk, Lucy will play a key role in helping to shape and deliver Duxton Hill Chambers’ strategy across London, and Singapore, with a particular focus on practice development, client relationships and Duxton’s continued international growth.
Lucy was named in The Lawyer Hot 100 in 2024 and was shortlisted for Legal 500 Women in Law: Bar Champion of the Year in the same year. She has also held a number of senior industry roles and contributed to initiatives across the Bar focused on the development and future of the profession.
Her appointment comes at an important stage in Duxton’s development as Chambers continues to build its position as an integrated, international disputes set, bringing together leading practitioners with global practices in numerous jurisdictions, based across its London and Singapore chambers.
Duxton would also like to express its sincere thanks to Sam Biggerstaff and ABC Chambers Solutions for their professionalism, dedication and support in developing Duxton Hill Chambers London to date. Sam has played an important role in the development of Chambers, and we are enormously grateful for the support and commitment he and the wider ABC team have provided. We look forward to maintaining warm ties with Sam and ABC.
