Jun Hong is a dual-qualified Singapore and New York lawyer. He has experience working on international disputes in the energy and technology sectors, and has helped state-owned entities and large corporations obtain favourable outcomes in high-stakes cases.
Jun Hong previously worked at leading international arbitration practices in London and Singapore. Before private practice, he served as a Justices’ Law Clerk in the Supreme Court of Singapore. He also taught Business Law at Singapore Management University, and Land Law to graduates doing the Part A Bar Examinations.
Jun Hong will be resuming practice in July 2022, after completing his LL.M. program at Stanford.
- Representing a state-owned oil and gas company in an ICC arbitration concerning claims arising under a production sharing contract, with over US$300 million in dispute
- Representing a state-owned oil and gas company in ICC and UNCITRAL arbitrations concerning claims arising under multiple production sharing contracts and bilateral investment treaties, with over $2 billion in dispute
- Representing a large Asian technology company in connection with related NAI and CIETAC arbitrations in relation to a technology licensing dispute
- Representing a global sports and entertainment media company in a SIAC arbitration over the licensing of media rights
